The world's most luxurious plane has been introduced: From the balcony to the gym, there is no luxury in the jet…

Germany’s largest airline Lufthansa has taken action for ultra-luxury VIP jets. The plane, baptized “Explorer”, was presented for the first time in Monaco. It was reported that the idea was inspired by luxury yachts and adapted to airplanes.

Wieland Timm, Head of Special Mission Aircraft Services for Lufthansa VIP Aircraft, presented the aircraft at a press conference. Pointing out that the aircraft is inspired by ultra-luxury yachts, Timm said: “However, unlike a yacht, our EXPLORER aircraft allows passengers to travel halfway around the world in hours.” said.

Lufthansa Technik chose the Airbus Corporate Jet ACJ330 to bring the design to life, but it was pointed out that the VIP concept could be applied to any jumbo jet such as the A350 or Boeing 787.

In addition to living and study rooms for VIP guests, the aircraft includes large bedroom foyers, a large dining area, and a large table that can be used as conference space.

There is also a giant TV cabinet, sofas and armchairs in the room where there is a large table. There are also specially designed bathrooms and showers in the VIP jet. Some are in bedrooms.

Drawings published by Lufthansa Technik show the galley and quiet living areas with a large window, perfect for working in the back of the plane. Although the concept is usually designed for 12 VIP passengers, it has been reported that this number can go up to 47.

The company also plans to install a unique projection system developed in partnership with Diehl Aerospace. Thus, it aims to create a unique atmosphere by projecting different images on the ceiling.

In addition to the common living areas seen on other private jets, Lufthansa’s A330 also features a dance floor created by lowering the dining table in the main lounge.

The most striking detail of the aircraft is the one-of-a-kind open deck. The retractable veranda is located about four meters high.

The aircraft also has a gym and wellness rooms specially designed for long-haul flights. There is also talk of adding options such as a steam room and sauna to the plane, which also has a massage room.

When all of this is added to the list price of a new A330-200 freighter, the Explorer’s total cost is expected to exceed $340 million.
